UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Hello and welcome to the Psychological Sciences Club at UW-River Falls! The Psychological Sciences Club hosts weekly meetings and hosts outings, student-faculty get-togethers, service projects, and guest speakers throughout the academic year.
Join us weekly at 3:45 PM in 179 Centennial Science Hall. See our Facebook page (link on the right) for updated event information.
Psychological Sciences Club is a student organization for all psychology and neurosciences majors, minors, and those interested in the field. Our mission is to be an educational and community building organization for those on campus interested in Psychological Sciences. Joining the Psychological Sciences Club offers students the exciting opportunity to get acquainted with others who have similar interests, the possibility to learn more about the field and career options available to majors and minors in the department, how to choose and get accepted into a graduate program, and other endless possibilities to explore how psychological science is prevalent in our community and beyond. We have various activities throughout the year that help to advance our education beyond the classroom. Our mission is to provide educational enrichment, to promote the personal growth of our members, and to provide service to our campus and the surrounding community.
In addition to the Psychological Sciences Club eligible students can apply to either Psi Chi, the international honors society in psychology, or Nu Rho Psi (chapter coming soon), the international honors society in neuroscience. Both honor societies provide students with lifetime memberships and are a great addition to your resumé. For more information on both programs please check out our Psi Chi information page and the Nu Rho Psi information page.
Psi Chi is an international honor society whose purpose shall be to encourage, stimulate, and maintain excellence in scholarship of the individual members in all fields, particularly in psychology, and to advance the science of psychology.
