Falcon Center Operations (FCO) offers a variety of positions that allow students to engage in an array of opportunities and experiences. Ranging from daily oversight of Falcon Center facilities and event management including UWRF Athletics events, concerts, ceremonies, conferences and more, to grounds and maintenance experiences, and media/technology opportunties; FCO provides students diverse experiences throughout the academic year and during the summer. Please see below for specific descriptions of all possible positions within FCO.

FCO is currently accepting applications for incoming UWRF Students to join our team in the Fall of 2019!

Timeline for incoming UWRF students:

  • Applications available for submission throughout the summer months. All applications can be submitted online
  • Applications will be review by FCO staff upon reciept.
  • Throughout summer months, interviews will be conducted
  • Positions will be offered throughout the summer months until all positions are filled
  • We will be at the opportunity fair/office fair during registration days. Please stop by our booth to find out more!

EventStaff2019

The Falcon Center Operations (FCO) Staff will work closely with Falcon Center Supervisors, the Assistant Director of Falcon Center, and Falcon Center maintenance staff. Responsibilities will include executing daily operation and events administration responsibilities within all venues at Falcon Center. Staff will typically work within the Knowles Fieldhouse, Hunt Arena, Page Arena, David Smith Stadium/Ramer Field, and other facilities depending on the event. FCO Staff members are responsible for the opening/closing of venues, set-up/tear down and operation of a variety of events and daily use. FCO Staff will execute game administration duties for UWRF Athletic events including but not limited to: ticket sales, crowd control, customer service, game operation, etc.

FCO Staff Position Description

Building & Grounds 2019-2020

Falcon Center Operations (FCO) Building/Grounds Staff will work closely with the FCO Maintenance Staff, and the Assistant Director of Falcon Center. On a daily basis FCO Building/Grounds Staff members are responsible for the upkeep of all Falcon Center facilities both indoor and outdoor. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: mowing, athletic and recreation field preparation, landscaping, snow removal, some indoor facility maintenance, and custodial work. Small and large equipment operation will be required with this position. There is some overlap with the FCO Staff for event oversight and assistance.

This position will work regularly at David Smith Stadium/Ramer Field, the IM Complex, Falcon Softball Field, Falcon Soccer Field, Hunt Arena, Knowles Fieldhouse, and other indoor and outdoor venues.

FCO Building/Grounds Staff Position Description

Media & Tech 2019-2020

Falcon Center Operations (FCO) Media/Technology Ops Staff will work closely with the Falcon Center Media & Technology Coordinator, as well as the Assistant Director of Falcon Center. There are a few positions available within the FCO Media/Technology Ops Staff..

The FCO Media & Tech Staff will be responsible for daily operation of all media at Falcon Center events. This will include all UWRF Athletics events as well as other events hosted within Falcon Center venues. Duties will include camera operation, event audio (dj) functions, video board operation, and content creation.

This position will also be responsible for supporting all users of Falcon Center with technology concerns. These users will include but are not limited to Health & Human Performance, Campus Recreation, UWRF Athletics, and Falcon Center Operations. Daily responsibilities will include support of classroom technology, office computers, projectors, event management equipment, hardware and software support.
