UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Growing Autism Diversity through Guided Education and Transition (G.A.D.G.E.T) is a 1-year pilot program offering mentoring/academic coaching to first-year students with Autism. Mentors will meet with students weekly to address executive functioning challenges, navigating campus resources, developing positive study skills, and connecting students to the larger campus community. Mentors will also work with each individual to identify academic and personal goals for each semester. Mentors will be provided training and ongoing support throughout the duration of the academic year.
All Mentees and Mentors will have an opportunity to get connected, socialize, and start off the semester right with our inital kick-off event!
