Graduate Program Procedures

This page contains information on how to apply for admission, register for courses, pay tuition & fees, and access online courses.

Application Procedures

For those seeking the MS in Ag Education degree

  • If 1) you are currently a degree seeking graduate student (already admitted into the MS - Ag Ed Program) AND 2) You have taken classes during the Fall 2003 Semester or later, you are ready to Register.
  • If 1) you are currently a degree seeking graduate student (already admitted into the MS - Ag Ed Program) AND 2) Your most recent class was before the Fall 2003 Semester, then you must apply for re-entry.
  • If you are not currently a degree seeking graduate student (not admitted into the MS - Ag Ed Program) but would like to be, please follow the procedure outlined at https://www.uwrf.edu/Graduate/AdmissionStandards.cfm

For those seeking continuing education (Non-Degree Seeking / temporary status)

  • A temporary student is one who is not taking courses to apply toward a graduate degree.
  • Be aware that, should you choose to enroll in a graduate degree program at a later date, only 9 temporary credits will apply toward your degree and the seven year limit for completing a degree begins from the date the first graduate level course is taken.
  • To become a temporary student, please follow the procedures outlined at https://www.uwrf.edu/Graduate/TakingCreditClasses.cfm. The application processing fee is waived.


Course Registration Procedures

Please register online using the UWRF eSIS tool.

  • Online registration requires an active Falcon Account. Your username was provided in your application confirmation letter. Please visit https://faa.uwrf.edu/ActivateStart.php to activate your account or reset your password.
  • View tutorial: How to register in eSIS.

Step 1: Log into eSIS using your Falcon Account (w....) and password.

Step 2: Sign the Fee Payment Agreement using the link from the Finances section of your eSIS Student Center.

Step 3: Add each class using the Academics - Enrollment section of your eSIS Student Center.

Step 4: Confirm enrollment by viewing and printing schedule. Use the My Class Schedule in the Academics - Enrollment section of your eSIS Student Center for this.


Tuition and Fee Payments

  • Tuition and fee bills are delivered electronically to current students at their UWRF e-mail account. No paper bills are mailed. Additional information can be found on the Accounts Receivable Web site.


Accessing Online Courses

  • Online classes will be available in the Canvas system on the scheduled start date for the course.
