UWRF Campus Description

A short UWRF campus description should appear in major communications. The following statement, or a condensed version of it, may be used.

"The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is a member of the University of Wisconsin System and is located in scenic western Wisconsin in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. UWRF offers easily accessible year-round arts, cultural and recreational opportunities. Approximately 6,000 graduate and undergraduate students pursue degrees in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences; College of Arts and Sciences; College of Education, Business and Allied Health; and the Office of Outreach and Continuing Education. The university provides an excellent environment for learning, emphasizing the importance of faculty-student interaction in classrooms, laboratories, and academic advising and co-curricular activities. A favorable student-faculty ratio affords opportunity for meaningful interchange between faculty and students. Strong interests in teaching, research, international experience and community service are highly valued."
