College of Business and Economics honors students
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls College of Business and Economics (CBE) honored students at an awards ceremony April 18. UW-River Falls Chancellor Dean Van Galen delivered a welcome and Michael Fronmueller, CBE Dean, presided.
 
Dolliver honored by both her peers and students at UW-River Falls
Holly A.S. Dolliver, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Geology and Soil Science, was recently honored with two awards, one from her colleagues and the second from students. Dolliver was named the 2016 Outstanding Faculty member by her colleagues in the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) and was named the 2016 Adviser of the Year at UW-River Falls through a nomination process that included current students and alumni.
 
Food Science and Technology program reinstated at UW-River Falls
The College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) at UW-River Falls has completed the process of reinstating its Food Science and Technology program that was suspended several years ago. Students will be accepted into the program beginning in fall 2016.
 
Special Education Scholarship aids UW-River Falls teacher education students
Two University of Wisconsin-River Falls Teacher Education students have received a scholarship established to honor alumni with a passion for special-needs children.
 
Springman and Holmes named Outstanding Seniors at UW-River Falls
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) presented awards to two outstanding seniors for 2015-16 at their annual Senior Supper April 27.

A former University of Wisconsin-River Falls scholar athlete and the first director of a Minneapolis Public Schools initiative to narrow the achievement gap between black and white male students received the College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) highest awards at a ceremony May 5.
 
Undergraduate research, scholarly and creative activity showcased May 4 at UW-River Falls
The public is invited to the 2016 Spring Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity (URSCA) Day at UW-River Falls on Wednesday, May 4, from noon-2 p.m. in the Riverview Ballroom of the University Center.
 
UW-River Falls commencement is May 15 at River Falls High School
More than 800 University of Wisconsin-River Falls bachelor's and master's degree students will participate in three separate commencement ceremonies at River Falls High School on Sunday, May 15. The change in venue is due to the construction of the new Falcon Center, set for completion in 2017.
 
UW-River Falls to host business and IT degree Open House for working professionals
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is hosting an Open House for Adults and working professionals on Tuesday, June 14, from 5-7 p.m. at the UW-River Falls Hudson Center, 2501 Hanley Road, Suite 200, Hudson.
