Alternative instruction extended to end of semester I am writing to inform you that, given the latest information we have received about the evolution of COVID-19, UW-River Falls has decided to continue with alternative modes of delivery of instruction and services through the end of spring semester.
Alumni, donors respond to student needs during COVID-19 crisis March 27, 2020 – Responding to student financial challenges prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, University of Wisconsin-River Falls alumni and donors have contributed nearly $13,000 to a Student Emergency Fund – halfway to the goal of raising $25,000 for students facing critical needs.
Colts in Training Sale transitioned online amid COVID-19 concerns March 23, 2020 – On March 16, due to the COVID-19 situation classes at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls were suspended and moved to an online delivery method through the end of spring semester. As a result, the 2020 Colts in Training Program was suspended and the sale on May 2 was cancelled. Twenty-three horses enrolled in the program that did not return to their owners as well as two UWRF aged lesson horses will be offered on an online auction April 2-4 at www.dvauction.com.

Renowned Cybèle Young is Spring Visiting Professor in Art March 9, 2020 - Toronto-based artist and author Cybèle Young is the Spring 2020 Walker D. and Helen Bryant Wyman Visiting Professor in Art at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She will present a free public lecture to present her work and process on Monday, March 16, at 5 p.m. in 222 North Hall.
Target’s VP is Innovator in Residence speaker March 10 March 2, 2020 - Greg Van Bellinger, vice president, Target Owned Brand Product Design & Management is the spring 2020 Innovator in Residence at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Van Bellinger will speak on “Innovation; Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, in the Riverview Ballroom of the University Center. The lecture is free and open to the public and is hosted by the Center for Innovation and Business Development (CIBD) at UWRF.
