Mission 

Through rigorous coursework, field-based experiences, and high impact teaching practices, the Health and Human Performance Department prepares leaders in health and physical education, exercise and sport science, health professions, coaching, adapted physical education and outdoor education. These leaders will cultivate a commitment to life-long physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
