Waste Minimization

UWRF participates in a wide variety of activities to reduce waste and items sent to a landfill. This includes a comprehensive recycling program, surplus property program, confidential shredding opportunities for university generated material, universal and hazardous waste programs, and specialty programs such as battery and plastic film recycling.
