UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
The University Archives and Area Research Center utilizes two main catalogs to access records of our materials, UWRF AtoM and Search@UW. The keyword finding aid search for Wisconsin Historical Society materials (available at the ARC) are also included for ease of use.
The UWRF Catalog searches the records of newspapers, local regional and family histories, rare books, and archival materials in the Area Research Center (ARC) network, including the Wisconsin History Society's (WHS) archives collections.
The side navigation bar allows you to further limit your search. For example, you can select delimiters to "Show only ... Available at River Falls." You can also refine your results by resource type (archival materials are "archive" and "other"), topic, creation date, or author. Some archival records may say "multiple versions found" and the first version listed is the one you want to use (includes our call number, such as Pierce Series 4 or 23.A.5).
The Wisconsin Historical Society's finding aids, sometimes called Registers in their catalog records, are searchable on the University of Wisconsin Digital Collections, Archival Resources in Wisconsin: Descriptive Finding Aids.
