Judging Team

The UW-River Falls Animal Welfare Judging Team is led by Dr. Greco and Dr. Vogel. The team competes each November in the Annual Intercollegiate Animal Welfare Judging/Assessment Contest.

2018 Contest - Colorado State University

In 2018, two teams competed from UWRF. The first team placed 9th overall and 5th in the live asssessment portion of the contest. The team included Karly Anderson, Jake Backes, Claiborn Bronkhorst, Katie Kovalaske, and Lindsey Wichman. The second team tied for 11th overall. The team included Emma Gehring, Ashlynn Kirk, Wendy Lowry and Mackenzie Shramek.

2016 Animal Welfare Team

In the 2016 Contest, the UWRF Animal Welfare Team placed 1st in the live assessment portion of the contest. The students on the team included Faith Baier, Ashley Bue, Sarah Heck, Sara Odegard, and Kaleiah Schiller. Read the news release.
