UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
UWRF Dining manages the meal plan program and is committed to providing a quality experience for student, faculty, staff, and guests. We offer a variety of convenient and economical meal plan options for students.
UW-River Falls contracts with the professional food service firm Chartwells, to provide dining services in the University Center. The menus at the dining venues are designed to provide students with a variety of selections in an enjoyable atmosphere.
A meal plan is a grouping of meals, which is purchased in advance for an academic semester, and has a discount off the walk-in price. The meal plan is required for all students living in the residence halls (except South Fork Suites). Students use the meals on their meal plan by presenting their Falcon ID card to a cashier who will remove a meal at the register.
Mandatory Policy: All students residing in the residence halls, except South Fork Suites residents are required to select a meal plan as a part of the housing contract.
The Transfer Meal Program allows meal plan participants to use a meal from their meal plan in retail dining areas outside of Riverside Commons. A cash equivalency for the meal is applied to the purchase made. If the meal purchased exceeds the cash equivalency, the balance can be paid with cash, Dining Dollars, Falcon Dollars or credit card.
