Students identified positive aspects of this placement:
I had a wonderful work environment. The staff was very willing to help me whenever I needed it. The one-on-one contact was very fulfilling because it enabled you to see what you are really doing for these victims. It shows you how much you really help them. It also gives you an opportunity to meet a lot of new people. It puts to use the knowledge you had gained in the classroom setting. Gives you confidence. It also made me more familiar with the court process - adult and juvenile. (1999)
Students identified difficulties in this placement:
The only difficulty I had is that I wanted to become familiar with all aspects of this job but because it was union work, I was limited to what I could participate in doing. (1999)
