Noon Coffee Concerts Presented at UW-River Falls

September 17, 2015-- The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Music Department is again hosting the Frances Cohler Coffee Concerts Series that is free and open to the public.

This unique concert series features performances by UWRF music faculty as well as guest artists from around the world. The hour-long concerts, held at noon on select Fridays throughout the academic year, are followed by coffee and treats and time to visit with faculty and guest musicians.

The coffee concerts, held in Abbott Concert Hall in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building, this fall are:

Friday, Sept. 25, Laura Cavianni (piano)
Friday, Oct. 9, Sarah Porwoll-Lee (clarinet)
Friday, Oct. 23, Shostakovich Quintet
Friday, Nov. 20, Pat O'Keefe (clarinet), Krista Palmquist (vocals), Gail Olszewski (keyboards)
Friday, Dec. 4, Margaret Jane Wray (soprano) and Layton "Skip" James (keyboards).
