Fifth Annual Bowls for Hope to Benefit Grow to Share, Inc. January 14, 2014 – The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is hosting the fifth annual Bowls for Hope event on campus on Wednesday, March 12, from 5-7 p.m. in the Riverview Ballroom, University Center. Each year, UW-River Falls works with the community to raise funds through Bowls for Hope for a worthy organization that makes a difference in the St. Croix Valley. Proceeds this year will benefit Grow to Share, Inc.

UW-River Falls a Finalist in Desire2Learn Edge Challenge Competition January 21, 2014--The Falconers Group, a group of four students in the College of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, has been named a finalist in the Desire2Learn Edge Challenge. The competition invites teams to design and build a prototype of an innovative app that would improve some aspect of the educational experience.
UW-River Falls Hosts Spring 2014 Public Astronomy Talks and Observatory Viewings The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Physics Department begins its spring season of free, public observatory viewings and astronomy talks on Feb. 4. Objects to be seen in the telescopes include planets, globular clusters, open clusters, nebulae, galaxies, moons, and double stars.
