Miscellaneous Benefits

In addition to the compensation and benefits package offered by the university, faculty and staff receive discounts and opportunities to enjoy many activities on campus.  Below are some of the discounts/programs offered. 

Employee Wellness

• Activities and programs designed to increase employee wellbeing in one or more dimensions of wellness.

Athletics & Campus Recreation

• Current faculty/staff may purchase a discounted membership to the Falcon Center, which includes the Fitness Center, Knowles Field House, and the climbing wall. Memberships include Group Fitness classes, personal training packages, program design, fitness assessment, and consultations.
• Opportunities for Open Recreation, both indoors and out.
• Employees who pay to park on Campus may park at the Falcon Center at no extra charge.
• Falcon Outdoor Adventures (FOA) provides four distinct program areas for students, faculty/staff, and the community.

Theater

• University Theatre produces multiple events each year, including plays, musicals, improv shows, live streaming and broadcast, and films.

Dining Services

• The University Center has a wide variety of food options. Some of the options change, while some, like Freddy's C-Store, Eisntein Bros. Bagels, and Riverside Commons are constant. View hours and offerings. 
• Faculty and staff may dine at Riverside Commons any time it is open. However, on Fridays you can enjoy all-you-care-to-eat for $7 plus tax. (Prices subject to change.)
• Order and pay ahead using Boost Mobile Ordering.

• Free faculty/staff attendance to the Summer Concert Series.

Financial Wellness

• Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
• If pursuing loan forgiveness, complete the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Verification Request form and submit the request to the UW Service Center.
