Faculty College

The Faculty College program offers UW faculty and teaching academic staff a unique opportunity to collaborate with other exceptional teachers from across the Universities of Wisconsin during a four-day educational development experience focused on teaching and learning. 

In 2025, Faculty College will be held from May 27-30 at the Osthoff Resort, Elkhart Lake. 

Faculty College is sponsored by the Universities of Wisconsin Office of Professional and Instructional Development. 

Because 2025 signals the 25th anniversary of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) in Wisconsin, our theme for Faculty College is fittingly: (Re)Engaging with SoTL. Our guest facilitators are Dr. Nancy Chick (Rollins College) and Dr. Peter Felten (Elon University), both with roots in Wisconsin and long-running engagement with the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (ISSoTL).
