Course Instruction Request

For instructors wanting Archives staff to provide a general introduction to primary sources. To reserve a course instruction session, please complete our Course Instruction Request Form.

Inter-Archives and Interlibrary Loans

Borrow materials from other Area Research Centers of the Wisconsin Historical Society on Inter-Archives Loan, or request materials from other libraries using Interlibrary Loan.

Presentations and Workshops (for the public)

We have presentations and workshops that are available to have at your local library, genealogy society, local historical society, civic or church organization, school class or group, local government, or at UWRF. The presentations are free.

If you want to host something at UWRF, the Library may be able to provide accommodations. Please contact us to make arrangements (email or phone: 715-425-3567).

Research Fees, Forms, Policies

Ordering copies, obtaining research services, using photographs, scanning and digital copies, fees for research and for copies, etc. See our Fees, Forms, and Policies pages. We prefer you pay for services, including research online and image fees, using a credit card in the UWRF Marketplace. To order research services, please choose "Record Search" ($5) for a Basic Research Request, or pick the appropriate amount of time from the four options for an In-Depth Research Request ($5, $10, $15, or $20). To pay for image fees online, please choose the appropriate dollar amount (currently, you must choose the options for an in-depth research request), adding more than one "service" as needed to reach the desired total fee amount. You still need to fill out the appropriate request forms (image reproductions and use or research requests). If you need additional information about how much a particular service will cost, please contact us at for the fastest response.
