Mike Martin passed away on January 28, 2022.
During his 25-year career at UW-River Falls, Mike made a remarkable impact.
As the senior coordinator of the Educator Preparation Program, he influenced countless student lives as the TEACH learning community advisor, the admission to teacher education preparation program coordinator, the data program manager and teaching licensing officer.
In 2016, Mike earned the Academic Staff Excellence Award from the UW Board of Regents.
Mike was a loving husband and father, and at the request of his family, donations in Mike’s memory will be designated to the Michael Martin Memorial Scholarship Fund.
