Taxi Service

Taxi Service is provided through Student Health Services at no charge with the presentation of a valid UW-River Falls student I.D.  Free service provides round-trip (within the city limits of River Falls) transportation to:

  • Vibrant Health Family Clinics, River Falls
  • Pierce County Reproductive Health Service
  • Saint Croix Valley Sexual Assault Response Team Center (1343 N. Main Street, River Falls)

The taxis are handicapped accessible, but it is helpful when calling for a ride if they are informed of any special needs, so that they can allow extra time.

HOURS

Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Sunday 8 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Besides the covered trips above for students, trips within River Falls cost $2.75 per person. The taxi will travel up to 5 miles out of River Falls city limits for an additional $1.50 per mile per person.  Contact the Taxi for additional locations to connect with the airport shuttle.

Safe Ride Program

This collaborative program between UWRF Student Senate and the City of River Falls Taxi Service provides taxi free rides in River Falls for UWRF students on Thursday through Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. when classes are in session.  The Taxi is also available for others at these times, for the regular taxi fare.
