Canvas

Canvas is UWRF's digital learning environment, which provides online access to course materials.

Since Canvas imports registration information from eSIS, students aren't able to access their courses in Canvas until at least one day after registering for classes. New students may not have access to Canvas until a few weeks before their first term. Courses become available when activated by instructors, usually the first day of classes.

eSIS

eSIS is UWRF's student information system. It is an implementation of Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions application. eSIS contains all student data from courses taken and the grades received to addresses and other contact information. Students, faculty, and staff use eSIS for a wide range of tasks.

• Allows students to register for classes, see their grades, request unofficial transcripts, accept financial aid, pay their bill, update their address, etc.
• Allows faculty to advise students, view class rosters, submit grades, etc.
• Allows staff to perform and automate electronic business processes across many departments

Your university e-mail account (office 365) is the primary way to stay connected with your academics and important university information. Be sure to check your account regularly for campus updates. 

MyOrgs

MyOrgs is the Universities data base for student organizations and activities going on around campus.The University of Wisconsin-River Falls has over 150 student organizations on campus that range from athletic clubs to social fraternities/sororities and academic honoraries. Our search feature allows you to find one that meets your interests as well as provides the contact information for the organization.
