Vision Statement

The Dr. Robert B. Bailey III Office of International Education facilitates the development of engaged, culturally-aware global citizens and leaders by providing meaningful international education experiences both here and abroad for UW-River Falls students.

Mission Statement

The Dr. Robert B. Bailey III Office of International Education will support the campus strategic vision/mission/values and encourage the development of overall campus goals by:

  • Placing the interests of our students first and supporting them in academically challenging, professionally relevant, and personally engaging international educational experiences.
  • Working with and supporting faculty and academic units to provide challenging and academically distinctive international opportunities for students. These opportunities are defined by the integration of academic and experiential education and serve as a means to explore intercultural issues through engagement with ideas, people, cultures, and beyond our campus.
  • Supporting and advocating for international students and scholars hosted by UW-River Falls in order to create opportunities to engage with the campus and its resources, exchange culture with the community, and maximize the learning experiences while studying at the university.
  • Providing support and acting as a centralized resource for the cultivation and development of campus internationalization efforts and international partnerships.
