UW-River Falls offers test preparation classes for graduate school admissions exams

August 17, 2017-- The University of Wisconsin-River Falls now offers online test preparation classes that will give graduate school applicants the tools and strategies needed to succeed on popular graduate admissions exams. A highly qualified instructor delivers these classes live via the web to provide the interactivity of a classroom experience with the convenience of an online course.

“If you are preparing for graduate school, you know that success on the graduate admission exams plays a critical role,” said Randy Zimmermann, director of UWRF Outreach and Continuing Education. “Standardized tests like the GRE and GMAT help determine your admission status and are used in merit-based scholarships, grants, fellowships, and assistantships.”

Test preparation classes for both the GRE and GMAT begin in September and are held in the evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes for the LSAT will begin in January 2018.

Students will receive live, online instruction from a test preparation expert, a student workbook and software containing multiple practice items and tests. More information about course content, registration fees and discounts is available online at http://go.uwrf.edu/testprep.

Informational sessions for the GRE and GMAT test preparation classes are also offered, free and open to all. At these workshops, experienced test preparation instructors will demonstrate how the class strategies may help students achieve great test results. The GRE strategy workshop is Tuesday, Sept. 26, from either 3-4:30 p.m. or 6:30-8 p.m., at UW-River Falls. The GMAT strategy workshop is online on Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 6-7 p.m. Visit the website to register for either workshop.
