UWRF Students Offer Tax Preparation Help

Feb 11, 2011—The Accounting Society and students from tax classes at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls will be on-hand to help area residents with their taxes Feb. 17 and 24 and March 3 and 10.

Each date’s session will be held from 6-9 p.m. at WESTconsin Credit Union in River Falls.

This service is available to individuals with an annual income of less than $25,000 per year. Participants should bring the following to the session: any W-2s, 1099 forms, the Social Security numbers of dependents, daycare and Wisconsin Rent Credit forms and the prior year’s income tax return. Electronic filing is not offered.
