UW-River Falls Masquers present 'Beyond Therapy'

November 27, 2017-- The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Masquers Club will present “Beyond Therapy” by Christopher Durang December 5-9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Blanche Davis Theatre in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building. The play is open to the public.

“Beyond Therapy” is a farcical, dark comedy dealing with love, sexuality, and therapy. Prudence is a lonely woman looking for love. Bruce is a lonely man looking for love--except, of course, when he’s at home with his partner, Bob. With the help, or hindrance, of their eccentric therapists, who prove to be problematic, Prudence and Bruce navigate their quirky relationship.

Directed by UW-River Falls student Emma Johnson of Shoreview, Minn., the “Beyond Therapy” cast includes Rachael Buckallew of Little Falls, Minn., as Prudence, Dylan Oja of Superior as Bruce, Grant Morrison of River Falls as Stuart, Lynnia Alden of North Branch, Minn., as Charlotte, Trevor Heim-Prechter of Howard-Suamico as Bob, and Jan Rozumalski of Luck as Andrew.

Tickets are $10/adults, $8/seniors (60+), free/UWRF students with Falcon ID, and $5/non-UWRF students. Tickets can be purchased at the Box Office open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On performance evenings, the Box Office opens at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in person, by phone at 715-425-3114 during Box Office hours, or online at marketplace.uwrf.edu.
