Morning with a Professor Lecture Series Set at UW-River Falls

Sept. 1, 2011-- Registration has opened for the UW-River Falls Morning with a Professor lecture series. The popular series, which began in 1988, brings together university professors and community members to share expertise, knowledge and opinions on topics drawn from current news, historical events, contemporary issues and personal experiences.

"The topics are always interesting and stretch your imagination," says Cindy Wells-O'Malley, outreach program manager. "The professors have the ability to get you excited about the topics they are presenting."

Each two-hour session includes a thought-provoking presentation from a university faculty member and the opportunity for participants to share insights and inquiries in an open question and answer forum.

Lectures take place on Tuesday mornings from 9-11 a.m. in the Kinnickinnic River Theater of the University Center at UWRF. Registration is $60 and includes the six lectures, coffee and light refreshments. A limited number of parking permits will issued by request, on a first come, first served basis at the time of registration.
