UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
November 20, 2018 - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Masquers will present “Play Nice! by Robin Rice Dec. 4-8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Syse Black Box Theatre in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building.
The play centers around Isabelle Diamond and her siblings as they work to discover who poisoned their abusive, alcoholic, prideful mother. Isabelle, Matilda, Luce, and Joanie show us how art, creativity, and imagination help us overcome some of the most challenging obstacles we may face at any age. We learn that the things others criticize as too childish or too unorthodox may become our most valued traits as adults.
“Play Nice!” is directed by Corey Fern, a senior from Shakopee, Minn. The cast features Rachael Buckallew of Little Falls, Minn., as Isabelle; Brooke Hafner of St. Paul as Matilda; Trevor Heim-Prechter of Green Bay as Luce; and Hannah Robb of Medford, Minn., as Joanie.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (60+), $5 for those under 18, and free for UWRF students. The play may not be suitable for younger audiences. The Box Office, located in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building near Gallery 101, will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning Nov. 26.
