Just Local event highlights volunteer opportunities, local businesses, food samples, and more

August 25, 2016--A community event, Just Local, focusing on bringing people together to learn about the importance of being an engaged community member and supporting the local economy will be hosted by UW-River Falls on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. under the big tent on the University Center mall. The event is free and open to the public.

Just Local is an event that hopes to connect UWRF students to our community through volunteerism, supporting the local economy, and living sustainably. Other highlights of the event include a free t-shirt, local food samples, sustainable crafts, henna, and much more.
