Gallo statement on State of the State address

February 16, 2022- University of Wisconsin-River Falls Chancellor Maria Gallo issued the following statement following the State of the State address Tuesday.

“I want to thank Gov. Tony Evers for his commitment to higher education and his recognition of the vital role Wisconsin public universities play in building the futures of our students and the communities we serve. The funding helps maintain the UW System’s, including UWRF’s, dedication to providing affordable education as well as much needed additional funding for counseling and other mental health services for our students.”
