UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
September 12, 2019 - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is hosting free workshops this fall to demonstrate how certain test-taking strategies can help those planning to take the GRE, GMAT or LSAT admission exams for graduate school.
“If you are preparing for graduate school, you know that success on your admission exam plays a critical role,” said Randy Zimmermann, director of UWRF Continuing Education. “Standardized tests like the GRE, GMAT and LSAT help determine your admission status and are used in merit-based scholarships, grants, fellowships, and assistantships.”
At these workshops, experienced test preparation instructors demonstrate how strategies may help students achieve great test results. Workshops are delivered online for all three exams and face-to-face on the UWRF campus for the GRE.
Upcoming online workshops include the GMAT Exam Workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 6 p.m.; the LSAT Exam Workshop on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and the GRE Workshop on Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. There will be a face-to-face workshop for the GRE on Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Kinnickinnic Theater in the University Center.
Students must register in advance to receive access to the online workshops. Visit the website at http://go.uwrf.edu/testprep to register and view the schedule of test prep workshops and classes offered this year.
