Free GRE strategy workshop offered at UW-River Falls

September 4, 2018 - A free workshop for anyone planning to take the GRE test for admission to graduate school is being offered at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Sept. 26 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the University Center.

In the workshop, an experienced test preparation instructor will demonstrate how test prep classes may help students achieve improved scores.

“If you are preparing for graduate school, you know that success on your admission exam plays a critical role,” said Randy Zimmermann, director of Continuing Education at UW-River Falls. “Standardized tests like the GRE help determine your admission status and are used in merit-based scholarships, grants, fellowships, and assistantships.”

In addition to strategy workshops, UWRF offers test preparation classes on campus. The upcoming session begins October 11 and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11 p.m. for five weeks. Online classes for the GRE, the GMAT and LSAT admissions exams are offered throughout the fall. A complete schedule, including information on discounted rates, is available at http://go.uwrf.edu/testprep.

UW-River Falls offers its test preparation courses in partnership with Educational Testing Consultants, a leader in higher education test preparation and a proven program with a record of success and highly trained, top-quality instructors.
