Free Friday noon concert series presented at UW-River Falls The Frances Cohler Coffee Concert Series at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls is a unique concert series featuring performances by UW-River Falls music faculty as well as guest artists from around the world. The concerts, held at noon on selected Fridays throughout the academic year, are free and open to the public and are followed by coffee and treats.
Memories resound for Berkhof as Karges Center era closes Jeff Berkhof still remembers the first time he saw the R.A. Karges Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. "It was the spring of 1992 and I was visiting campus for the first time as a prospective student," said Berkhof. "I thought Karges was just fine. It looked like a great place to play. I never imagined there would be a day when it wouldn't be big enough or adequate enough.” Twenty-five years later, Berkhof, now head men's basketball coach at UW-River Falls, is preparing to say goodbye to the R.A. Karges Center - affectionately known as Karges - for the final time.

For 20 years, Chippewa Valley Bean (CVB) has partnered with the University of Wisconsin-River Falls to assess the canning quality of kidney bean lines under development.
UW-River Falls receives 70 recycling bins through Public Space Recycling Bin Grant Program Keep America Beautiful and The Coca-Cola Company have awarded 70 recycling bins to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Keep America Beautiful and The Coca-Cola Company are working together to address one of the primary barriers to recycling in public spaces by making access to recycling bins more readily available and convenient through the 2016 Coca-Cola/Keep America Beautiful Public Space Recycling Bin Grant Program.
