December 2, 2021 - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Art Department would like to help brighten up the season with a small Art Scholarship Sale. Choose from a wonderful selection of studio arts including glass, ceramics, painting, printmaking, photography, and mixed media.
 
Four faculty fellowships funded by state-sponsored Dairy Innovation Hub
December 17, 2021 - The University of Wisconsin-River Falls College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) recently awarded four faculty research fellowships to help increase dairy-related research capacity through the Dairy Innovation Hub initiative. The selected faculty members will tackle research projects in the Hub’s four priority areas: stewarding land and water resources; enriching human health and nutrition; ensuring animal health and welfare; and growing farm business and communities.
 
UW-River Falls chancellor expresses support for change to Minnesota-Wisconsin tuition reciprocity
December 8, 2021 – University of Wisconsin-River Falls Chancellor Maria Gallo testified in Madison today expressing support for a proposed change to a 30-year-old tuition reciprocity agreement with the state of Minnesota. Speaking before the Assembly Committee on Colleges and Universities, Gallo spoke on the negative impact of the current outdated mechanism on UW-River Falls and spoke in favor of draft legislation that would allow all UW System campuses to better maximize this relationship between the two states.
 
UW-River Falls to hold in-person commencement Dec. 18
December 6, 2021 – Family and friends of University of Wisconsin-River Falls graduates will gather in person to celebrate commencement achievements on Saturday, Dec. 18. Face coverings will be required.
 
UW-River Falls to offer international dual degree program, partners with university in the Netherlands
December 10, 2021 – The UW System Board of Regents has approved a new undergraduate Bachelor of Science program in international food operations management at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
