UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN River Falls
Oct. 1, 2012 – Three faculty members at the College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls were honored in September for their outstanding performance as judged by recent alumni and peers. The 13th Annual Outstanding Teacher, Advisor and Research awards were awarded to Hossein Eftekari for teaching economics; Claire Kilian for her work as an advisor; and Daryl Miller for his research in 2011-2012
Outstanding Teacher and advisor awards are determined by a vote of alumni two and four years post-graduation for the faculty who have had the most positive impact on their education, careers, and lives.
The Outstanding Researcher Award is determined by a committee of peers and selected for intellectual contributions in his or hear field of endeavor in the preceding year.
Recipients were awarded a cash gift from the Fund for Excellence.
