Art Scholarship Sale Opens Nov. 23

November 19, 2015 -- The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Art Department is hosting their Annual Scholarship Sale in Gallery 101 in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building Nov. 23-Dec. 9. (Closed Nov. 25-29 for Thanksgiving break.) The sale is open to everyone.

Choose from a wide selection of studio arts including glass, ceramics, painting, fibers, printmaking, photography and mixed media. An investment in quality artwork for you or as a gift provides valuable contributions towards the continued education of art students at UW-River Falls. New items are added each day.

Art available for purchase includes work by current art students and faculty, alumni, retired faculty and a variety of local artisans. Participating artists retain 65 percent of the proceeds while the balance remains in the Art Department for use towards scholarships, visiting artists and the student Art Society fund.

Gallery hours for the sale are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 p.m. Hours may be adjusted to coincide with other events.
