CAFES rolls out scholarship announcements via social media amid COVID-19 crisis
April 24, 2020 – As has become a common occurrence in these days of the COVID-19 crisis, another long-time social tradition had to be cancelled and attempts made to find a means to replace it. In this case, the College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls cancelled their 54th Annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet and instead rolled out the scholarship announcements on their Facebook page on the same evening the banquet would have been held.

Falcon Premier Sale successful despite looming pandemic
April 8, 2020 --The 2020 University of Wisconsin-River Falls Falcon Premier Sale in March was a great success despite the looming shut down of campus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Mann Valley Farm to host spring compost sale
April 9, 2020 - The Spring Compost Sale will be held at the UW-River Falls Mann Valley Farm as planned. The compost is $30 per yard. Only checks will be accepted as payment.
 
New environmental engineering program approved
April 3, 2020 – The UW System Board of Regents has approved a new undergraduate Bachelor of Science program in environmental engineering at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
