Conditions of Employment - Work Rules

All student hourly positions are at-will positions and may be terminated at any time provided the reason is not prohibited by law. It is the University's position that the University of Wisconsin System Operational Policy: WE 3 apply to student employees in the same manner as they apply to other university employees.

Hours to Work Guidelines

Student Assistants can work no more than 25 hours per week,
International students and Federal Work Study positions are limited to 20 hours per week.Federal INS regulations restrict international students from working more than 20 hours per week while classes are in session

If you have more than one campus job, please coordinate any hour concerns with all supervisors.
