We encourage students and families to submit requested documents to us by email (finaid@uwrf.edu), fax (715-425-0708), or by the U.S. postal mail. Please remember to include your student ID number (begins with a "w") on all documents. Check out the Federal Student Aid Estimator for an estimate of how much federal student aid the student may be eligible to receive. These estimates are based on the Student Aid Index (SAI), an index used to determine federal aid eligibility. 2024-2025 FAFSA CORRECTIONS: Adding schools, contributor signatures, consent and approvalStudents can now make corrections to their 2024-2025 FAFSA.Check the status of your FAFSA by logging in to your StudentAid.Gov account and selecting your FAFSA submission from the "My Activity" section of your account Dashboard. The ability to make required or voluntary corrections to 2024-25 FAFSA forms that are in "Processed" status will be available first. Check your FAFSA submission summary to review your responses and understand any required actions to complete your form. The US Department of Education has begun processing 24-25 FAFSA submissions. As they work through all the applications received, the Department of Education will send a notice to the student’s email used on the FAFSA.
As UWRF begins to receive FAFSA information in the weeks ahead, we will send you an email to your @my.uwrf.edu account, and we anticipate we will start sending financial aid offers in May 2024 to New and Transfer students admitted for Fall 2024. Continuing students will start to receive their aid offers during the summer semester.

The 2023-2024 Annual Interest Rates for the Federal Direct Loan Program will apply for loans disbursed on or after July 1, 2023 and before July 1, 2024. All interest rates shown in the chart are fixed rates. A fixed rate will not change for the life of the loan. Financial aid offer letters from UWRF included an ESTIMATE of the 23-24 tuition and fee costs which were slightly less than was was approved by the Board of Regents. Please refer to your eSIS Billing Statement for your actual semester charges.
