2008/2009 EMPLOYEE
PARKING PERMIT INFORMATION
Permit applications will be accepted beginning Monday, April 21st , 2008. Outstanding parking citations must be paid upon submission of permit application or the application will be considered incomplete. Incomplete applications will not be processed and will be returned.
COMPLETING THE APPLICATION
Use the enclosed application to apply for your 2008/2009 Employee Parking Permit. Keep in mind the following information when completing your application.
Contact Information
- Occasionally additional information and updates will be submitted to Falcon Daily which is sent to all employees' UWRF email address. Please watch your email for important information. This information will also be updated on the parking website.
- If you will be choosing payroll deduction for the payment type, you must provide your Person ID# in the contact information section. The Human Resources Department requires this information to process the payroll deduction. This number can be found on your earnings statement.
Vehicle Information
- All vehicles utilizing your assigned UWRF permit must be listed.
- Temporary license plates must include the VIN# and must be replaced upon receipt of permanent license plate.
Permit Stipulations:
- All outstanding parking citations must be paid upon submission of permit application.
- Additional permits for multiple vehicles may be purchased for an additional $20 each. Vehicles utilizing these permits MAY NOT be on campus at the same time.
Signature
- Please sign and date the application. Unsigned applications will be considered incomplete and will be returned.
PERMIT ASSIGNMENT
Permits are assigned on the basis of seniority.
Seniority dates are provided by Human Resources.
Completed applications along with payment (or payroll deduction indicated) must be returned to the Parking Office by June 2nd 2008 . Applications received after June 2nd will not be processed according to seniority date.
PERMIT PRICES AND PAYMENT
Employee Lots $230.00
- If you wish to pay up front for your permit, the Parking Office can only accept payment in the form of cash or check. This payment must accompany the submitted permit application.
- If you select payroll deduction for the payment type, the amount will be deducted during the 9 month academic year.
- Applications and payment can be dropped of at the Parking Office, 27 South Hall or mailed to:

PERMIT DISTRIBUTION
- Permits will be mailed to the employees campus address prior to the start of the 08-09 academic year.
- Permits will not be issued until outstanding citations are paid in full.
LOT REQUEST
- Indicate three choices in order of preference. If we are unable to accommodate your first preference, we will attempt to accommodate your second, then third. If you fail to enter 3 choices and your preferences are not available, a lot will be assigned for you.
- If you have previously held a loading zone permit and will need one for the 08-09 academic year, make a notation in addition to your lot request.
- Requests to change to an alternate parking location after the June 2, 2008 deadline will be looked at on a first come first serve basis.

WAITLISTS
- If we are unable to accommodate your first preference, you will automatically be waitlisted for that lot based on seniority.
TICKETING
The Parking Office will begin enforcing student permit spaces on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 @ 6:00pm. Permits are required in Faculty/Staff permit spaces from 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday – Friday year round and will be enforced. In addition, there is NO PARKING from 1am-6am in any Faculty/Staff lot. All other spaces are enforced as posted. Please refer to the parking brochure for additional information. The Parking Office will be issuing citations to vehicles in violation during residence hall check-in.
