Flood Plain AreasN lot is located in a floodplain and is subject to flooding. This situation will normally occur only when there is a great deal of rain in a short period of time or a fast snowmelt in the spring. The Public Safety Department will notify the residential hall staff via the emergency alert system when these weather conditions occur. It is the responsibility of the vehicle operator to be aware of these weather conditions and to be prepared to move their vehicle if severe conditions should occur. Vehicles should be removed from N lot and parked at Ramer in the commuter area unless otherwise directed by the Parking Department. The Public Safety and Parking Departments are not responsible for any vehicles that are damaged due to failure to remove a vehicle. The Public Safety and Parking departments reserve the right to tow any vehicle (at the owner's expense) left in N lot should a flood occur. |
