Public Safety Alert:

Campus Safety Alert: Please Read

At approximately 11:30p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9,2006 a sexual battery occurred on campus on the Blue Stem Pathway. A student was walking from Ramer Gield parking lot to the main campus via the paved path. Near the nursery plot shed at the top of the hill, a suspect jumped out from the bushes and attacked the student. The suspect apparently heard somthin, released the individual and ran away.

The River Falls Police Department is investigating the incident. Any information regarding a person near the trail at the time of the assault should be directed to the RFPD at 715-425-0909.

Students, faculty, staff and community members should be on alert and take utmost personal safety precautions, such as walking in groups and in well-lit, well-traveled areas at night. Call boxes, marked with blue lights, are strategically positioned acreoos campus.

If you must walk alone, call Public Safety at 715-425-3133 to arrange an escourt.

 

 

Notice:

All bike racks surounding South Fork Suites will be used exclusively by the Kansas City Chiefs from July 24th-Aug 15th. Bikes not removed from this area as of July 11th wil be impounded by Public Safety.

Lot Closure:

K lot will be closed from 6/30/08-7/12/08 for maintenance. Vehicle remaining in the lot will be towed at the owners expense.
