Program Description - Fall 2008
Get ready for Weeks of Welcome (WOW) which begins Monday, September
1, 2008! WOW gives new students the opportunity to meet other students,
connect with upper class group leaders,
and get to know the University, all while having lots of fun!
The outstanding faculty and staff at UWRF are committed to providing
you with the best possible resources to make your undergraduate experience
both rewarding and enriching. However, your experience and success will
ultimately depend on you, and on the extent to which you actively engage
in the UWRF community and all of the opportunities it offers.
Both in class and out of class, it is necessary for you to invest in
yourself and those around you. Through exciting coursework and the rich
menu of extracurricular activities, you are encouraged to commit to
expanding your knowledge and abilities and challenge yourself to engage
in the new, unfamiliar, and unknown.

WOW doesn't stop as school starts! Keep an eye out for WOW Adventures
and additional WOW activities in the first couple weeks of the semester.
