CAFES Internships

The purpose of the Internship Program is to provide students with an opportunity to gain valuable career experiences. Students are given an opportunity to blend theory with practice and enhance relevance to their classroom experience.

The Internship Program is a hands on, practical experience in which students work with a variety of agricultural employers.

Faculty coordinators and employers work together to ensure a realistic career and educational experience for students.

Students are required to complete a project which is due after the internship experience has been completed.

Internship experiences are given 2-4 semester credits for three-month experiences. The faculty coordinator assigns the grade upon completion of the internship program.
