High School Students

Freshmen

Freshmen: Who signed the Wisconsin Covenant Pledge prior to September 30, 2011

1. Maintain at least a "B" average.

2. Volunteer in your community.  

  • Ask your school counselor about possible service learning opportunities in your community.

3. Record your service hours on the Record of Service form provided by the Office of the Wisconsin Covenant or in a computer document for future reference.

4. Find helpful information about how to prepare for college while you are a freshman at KnowHow2GO.

Sophomores and Juniors

Sophomores and Juniors: Who Signed the Wisconsin Covenant Pledge

1. Take classes that will help prepare you for college.

  • Ask your school counselor which classes are college prep courses, such as honors and Advance Placement.

2. Maintain at least a "B" average.

3. Continue volunteering and/or participating in service learning.

4. Record your service hours on the Record of Service form provided by the Office of the Wisconsin Covenant or in a computer document for future reference.

5. Find helpful information about how to prepare for college while you are a sophomore and junior from KnowHow2GO.

Seniors

Seniors: Who Signed the Wisconsin Covenant Pledge

1. Have your completed paperwork postmarked by March 31, 2012, to be confirmed as a Wisconsin Covenant Scholar by the Office of the Wisconsin Covenant.

  • The Office of the Wisconsin Covenant will make confirmation paperwork available beginning January 2012.

2. Complete the FAFSA by April 1, 2012.

3. Apply, in a timely manner, to all colleges you are interested in attending.

  • To learn more about UW-River Falls or to apply online, visit UWRF Future Students.
  • To receive the Wisconsin Covenant financial aid package, you must gain admission to a University of Wisconsin System institution, a Wisconsin Technical College, and/or a Wisconsin private college or university.
