Students in the Honors community represent a variety of majors, and all the residents are dedicated to being engaged, intellectual students on campus. The Honors community helps connect students with academic, cultural, and social resources, while providing opportunities to interact with some of the best faculty and staff at UWRF.  First-year students in this community will be co-enrolled in two honors courses during fall semester.

Program Considerations:
The following majors are encouraged to participate in the Honors Learning Community:

  • First-year and continuing students who are members of the Honors Program

Once you've been admitted, indicate your preference on your University Housing Contract.  Returning students can select this community during residence hall room sign-up.

The following General Education courses are required of participants in the Honors Learning Community:

Fall Semester (4 credits)

  • HON 190 (Honors Seminar)
  • ENGL 200 (Investigating Ideas Reading, Writing, and the Disciplines)
