The UW-River Falls Area Research Center has transcriptions of headstones in all of the public cemeteries in Burnett, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix counties.
This resource has a surname and cemetery index for Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix Counties.
"Transcription" means what appears on the headstone, which may include only the year or the full date of birth and death.
Many of these are now available on Find A Grave (search our 4 counties in the search box to the right).
