Welcome to UW-River Falls!
We are honored to have been selected to host the UW System Board of Regents meeting on October 5-6. This event will be curated to ensure guests can appreciate the unsurpassed beauty of our campus, located in Wisconsin’s scenic St. Croix Valley, while also learning about the numerous opportunities we offer our students.
As the home of the Falcons, our theme for the event is Soaring to New Heights, which also is the title of our new strategic plan. Attendees will learn how UWRF is committed to being a leader in STEM including agriculture, as well as in other signature programs like education, business and the arts. We will be showcasing some of our unique offerings, like the Montessori doctoral program, our Wuethrich Family/Grassland Dairy Center of Excellence and the soon-to-be-constructed Science and Technology Innovation Center with its University and Business Collaboration Center.
As a student-centered institution, with 38% of our students being first generation, we are committed to the success of every Falcon. David Rodli Hall was named in honor of a former member/president of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents (1959-1965) who lived in the River Falls area. Mr. Rodli cared deeply about student opportunity and and opportunities available to UWRF students in Rodli Hall. Stops in the building will include Student Health & Counseling, Disability Resource Center, Freddy’s Pantry, Career Services, Veteran Services and Diversity, Including and Belonging.
