UWRF undergrads traveling to NCUR 2014

Before You Go

  • Funding to support travel expenses may be available!
  • URSCA students who are (a) presenting authors, program participants, or displaying their original URSCA projects or at a professional conference or event, (b) included in the conference program as participating or performing at a professional conference or event as a professional development opportunity, or (c) attending a conference or event as a professional development opportunity may qualify for a Falcon Travel Grant.
  • The Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity Office announces the availability of travel funds through the new URSCA Mentor Travel Grant for a research mentor to travel with his/her undergraduate researchers.  For a mentor to qualify for this travel award, the student(s) must be presenting authors, program participants, or displaying their original URSCA project at a discipline-specific professional conference or event.    
  • If you are traveling to a conference as a group through the URSCA Office, please complete and submit all proper forms (on the right) prior to travel.  Such conferences include but are not limited to the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR), Posters in the Rotunda, and the UW-System Symposium.  *The travel forms are available for any mentor to use as well for travel to discipline specific conferences.
