The Department of New Student and Family Programs has a dedicated team of faculty, staff, students, and volunteers who are committed to student success.  To learn more about these opportunities, click on the individual links below.

Applications are now available for all Orientation and Transition Leader positions.  Applications are available online (below), at the Involvement Center front desk in the University Center, and in the lobby of each residence hall.  Completed applications are due at the Involvement Center front desk on Monday, February 25, 2013, by 12:00 p.m.

Student Managers
Student Managers assist in the planning and implementation of a variety of New Student Programs, including New Student Registration, Week of Welcome, International Student Orientation, Academic Day, Family Day, and more.

Orientation and Transition Leaders (OTL) for:

• New Student Registration
  OTL's for New Student Registration are a group of 16 exceptional student leaders dedicated to assisting future students, their family members, and supporters in their registration experience at University Wisconsin-River Falls.

• Week of Welcome
  OTL's for Week of Welcome (WOW) are a group of 45 exceptional student leaders dedicated to assisting new students in their move-in, orientation, and Academic Day experience at University Wisconsin-River Falls.

• International Student Orientation
  OTL's for International Student Orientation are a small group of exceptional student leaders dedicated to assisting new international degree-seeking and exchange students in their orientation experience at University Wisconsin-River Falls.

Welcome Home Crew Volunteers
The Welcome Home Crew is a group of enthusiastic students dedicated to welcoming new students, their family members, and supporters to campus, by assisting with New Student Move-In Day.

Family Day Volunteers Description:
Family Day Volunteers are a group of enthusiastic students, faculty, and staff dedicated to assisting the Department of New Student and Family Programs during the annual Family Day celebration.
