Education:

B.S., Geography, University of Wisconsin-River Falls;
M.A., Geography, University of Oregon.

Mr. Renault specializes in cartography and geographic information systems, with a focus on map design and production, map use, and navigation and wayfinding. Currently, he is teaching one section of Introduction to Cartography and GIS (GEOG 250), and managing the GIS Lab. Mr. Renault's other interests include population and demographics, politics and elections, and flags and national symbols.
